WGH Chapters are volunteer grassroots organizations formed by passionate and dedicated women working in health globally who come together in their respective countries to collectively work toward achieving gender equity in health. Chapters comprise diverse individuals from various professional backgrounds, united by a common mission to advance gender equality and women’s leadership in the health sector.
Each chapter operates autonomously within its local context while remaining connected to the broader WGH movement. Through policy advocacy, capacity-building initiatives, and research & data collection, chapter members strive to address systemic barriers and promote inclusivity, diversity, and gender-responsive approaches in health policies and practices.
