About Candidate

Eleleta is a public health professional with expertise in systems strengthening. She currently serves as the Chapter Lead for Ethiopia at Women in Global Health, where she leads a national initiative to advance women’s leadership in health and institutionalize gender equity across the sector. Her work centers on helping health institutions embed gender-responsive approaches within programs and workforce strategies, advancing equity in practice and driving progress toward continental commitments.

She has also served as a youth advisor to regional initiatives under Africa CDC and Amref Health Africa, championing youth-integrated approaches to strengthen health service delivery.

Drawing on a background in systems thinking and evidence-based programming, Eleleta is committed to building inclusive, people-centered health systems that reflect and respond to the needs of women, youth, and underserved populations.
